Finnish state railway VR is to restructure its business segment for urban and regional transport. In the process, the division called VR Kaupunkilikenne is to be managed market-specifically from Finland and Sweden in the future. Janne Hattula and Johan Oscarsson will be appointed as managers responsible for the urban transport units in Finland and Sweden respectively and as members of the VR management team. Hattula will begin his new position on 1st August 2023 and Oscarsson on 7th August 2023. Both Hattula and Oscarsson will report to Managing Director Elisa Markula. In the company's financial reporting, the urban transport land units will continue to be reported as a single segment.
