Rolling marks

The rolling mark is a 5 mm thick, raised marking, which is 35 mm high and used in the rail web approximately every 2.25 m to 2.50 m. The various rail grades are indicated by a dash symbol in the area of the rolling mark. The rolling mark also includes the work mark of the manufacturer, the rolling year and the rail form (complete marking of the rail type).
