Rail technology supplier Vossloh has launched a cloud-based platform called Vossloh connect, which provides digital solutions for the management and maintenance of rail infrastructure. The platform, which includes Vossloh's own solutions as well as selected third-party products and solutions, enables real-time monitoring of the railway network and provides relevant information for predictive maintenance. In addition, Vossloh connect includes analysis and warning systems designed to reduce the risk of accidents and disruptions and help reduce the cost of emergency repairs. Customers have access to their condition data via the platform, which is translated into tailored recommendations for action. The solutions available on the platform include Smart Turnout and Smart Point Machine, which focus on the monitoring and evaluation of points. In addition, Vossloh connect serves as a marketplace for selected third-party providers such as the Swedish company Strainlabs, the Israeli company Cervello, and the German company RailWatch.
