Rail technology supplier Vossloh has signed a four-year framework agreement with German state railway DB for the supply of switches. The order was placed with the Customised Modules business unit. Under the contract, Vossloh will supply at least 600 switches to DB over the next four years. This is the first time that Vossloh has won a framework agreement for complete switches with firmly committed delivery quantities. In addition, Vossloh will continue to supply a substantial quantity of switch components. DB is currently renewing its railway network as part of an extensive modernisation programme. Vossloh is supporting this DB investment project not only with switch systems but also with preventive rail maintenance, stationary long-welding and rail logistics.
