TÜV Rheinland is acquiring a technical consulting company from ABB based in the UK. The acquisition agreement has now been signed and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023. ABB's technical consultancy business is part of the Energy Industries division. TÜV Rheinland will integrate this part into its Industrial Services & Cybersecurity division in the UK. The ABB company has 160 employees at two main sites in the north-east and north-west of England.
