TfL launches market exploration for ELL maintenance contract

Transport for London (TfL) has consulted the market for the next East London Line (ELL) maintenance contract on the London Overground commuter rail network. Infrastructure Maintenance Contract 3 will cover the main line north from Dalston Junction to New Cross, New Cross Gate, and Old Kent Road Junction and will include planned and reactive maintenance, repair and renewal of all assets controlled by London Overground on behalf of TfL. The contract does not cover Network Rail infrastructure used by London Overground, apart from the Wembley asset and the maintenance of signals and telecommunications on the section of ELL between Highbury & Islington and the Dalston Curve. The tender is scheduled for December 2023. The current maintenance contract was awarded to Cleshar Contract Services in 2018.
