Rail Baltic Estonia has announced tenders for the construction of the infrastructure and junctions of the 52.6 km main line of the Rail Baltica high-speed rail (HSR) line in Estonia. Construction work is scheduled to begin in spring 2024. The tendered works initially comprise five lots worth a total of around €400 million, including the Hagudi – Alu lot worth €36 million, for which bids can be submitted until 15th March 2024. Further tenders are to follow, and construction work will take place on a total of 74 km of the Estonian Rail Baltica line.
