The Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has announced tenders for the modernisation of two lines in Vojvodina province. The first project for the Pancevo Glavna – Subotica line is divided into two sections, the 126.18 km Pancevo Glavna – Zrenjanin – Banatsko Milosevo section and the 73.58 km Banatsko Milosevo – Senta – Subotica section. The line is to be modernised and electrified for operation at up to 120 km/h. The second project concerns the Sombor – Vrbas line, which is also to be modernised and electrified.
