French state railway SNCF has approved the use of the single rail clipping machine of the CD200 IQ series from French components manufacturer Pandrol. The device is designed for E-clips or fastclips. The machine is able to clip up to 20 sleepers per minute. A built-in lift function for the sleeper as well as a modular design enable it to be easily lifted on and off the tracks. According to Pandrol, the approval from SNCF will allow the Colombes-based company to increase its presence in the French market.
