Sites, a specialist in monitoring the durability of assets in the face of ageing, use and operation has acquired VibraTec, an expert in vibration and acoustic engineering for the mobility, energy and production industries. The integration of VibraTec enhances Sites's expertise in the sectors of rail transport and infrastructure vulnerable to dynamic stress (viaducts, chimneys, pylons, cables). Together, the two companies aim to continue their work on low-carbon transport (rail and electric mobility); to ensure that wind, hydroelectric and nuclear power plants continue to produce more energy and for a longer time; and to anticipate the impact of global warming on key equipment and infrastructure (for example, tunnels and bridges).
