Italian infrastructure manager Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) has issued tenders for infrastructure works in the Italian region of Lombardy worth a total of €135 million. The contracts to be awarded include works for the doubling of the Ponte San Pietro – Bergamo – Montello line, worth €105 million, and the modernisation of Brescia station, worth €30 million. Both projects are funded through the European Union's (EU) EU’s Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR).
