Italian infrastructure manager RFI has published a tender for the construction of the Battipaglia – Romagnano section of the planned Salerno – Reggio Calabria high-speed rail (HSR) line. The tender is worth €2.16 billion. The works include the construction of a new 35 km line along the existing line between Battipaglia and Romagnano.
