Rail Baltica Estonia has published a tender for the construction of the third section of the Rail Baltica line in Estonia. The tender covers the 7.1 km section from Loone to Hagudi, which includes two railway viaducts, one road viaduct and two viaduct-like structures for safe wildlife crossing. The contract is expected to be awarded before the end of 2023, so that construction can start in early 2024. Rail Baltica Estonia has already announced tenders for the construction of a 9.4 km section from the border of Harju and Rapla counties to Sihi Road and a 4.8 km section from Ülemiste station to the intersection with Lagedth Road.
