Italian railway company Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM) has placed an order with Plasser & Theurer for the delivery of a levelling, alignment, and tamping machine as well as associated maintenance. The contract signed on 22nd September 2023 specifies that the machine will be delivered within 36 months and maintained for a period of nine years. The total contract value amounts to around €8.5 million plus VAT. Of this, around €7.3 million is for the delivery of the machine, around €155,000 for routine maintenance and €700,000 for extraordinary maintenance.
