PKP PLK signs six more Kolej Plus contracts

PKP PLK has signed six contracts for the Polish government's network expansion programme as part of co-financing through the Kolej Plus programme. This involves regional railway lines in the Malopolska and Lower Silesia regions with a total value of €283 million (PLN1.34 billion). Of these, two new lines are planned: a single-track, 6 km line between Podgrabie Wisla and Niepolomice bus station, as well as a double-track, 4 km connecting line Borowa Górka – Pieczyska. In addition, connections to the Wroclaw suburban network of the cities of Bogatynia and Zlotoryja are to be reactivated and refurbished.
