Nevomo and University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer cooperate on CargoTube project

Tech company Nevomo has expanded its partnership with the Institute for Hyperloop Technology at Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences to integrate the hyperloop-inspired MagRail transport system into the CargoTube high-speed freight demonstrator. The cooperation aims to validate the scalability and efficiency of MagRail technology and make it usable for future hyperrail and ultra-high-speed rail systems. The CargoTube project pursues a new approach to transporting goods through tubes with lowered air pressure and is intended to provide a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to more complex hyperloop systems. The MagRail technology is now being implemented in a Hyperloop demonstrator at Emden University of Applied Sciences.
