Spanish technology company Indra and Amey, a UK provider of transport infrastructure solutions, have agreed on a partnership to develop solutions for the UK control command and signalling (CCS) market. Drawing on decades of experience in control, safety, and railway signalling, as well as in delivering complex projects, the companies have created an open and interoperable digital signalling system that can integrate all types of technologies. Indra and Amey will develop and integrate digital signalling solutions that meet the highest safety standards, including digital interlocking systems and European Train Control System (ETCS) technology. The development and use of technologies to automate the design and verification testing of these solutions is also planned.
