On 26th September 2023, the European Commission (EC) launched a call for proposals for transport projects under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), with more than €7 billion available for the period from 2021 to 2027. Projects supporting solidarity routes between the EU and Ukraine are also eligible. Applications can be submitted until 30th January 2024. In addition, a total of €1.73 billion is available in the CEF for the Military Mobility Action Plan 2.0. Of this, €944 million has already been released for 57 projects, while a further €790 million is available for projects to be assessed and evaluated by the end of January 2024.
