The European Commission (EC) has authorised the acquisition of the Swedish infrastructure company Eleda TopCo AB and its subsidiaries by US-based Bain Capital Investors. The decision mainly concerns the provision of civil engineering services for transport infrastructure and other areas. The EC did not see any competition concerns as the parties are not active in the same or related markets. The review was carried out in accordance with the simplified procedure.
