CPK appoints new members to Management and Supervisory Board

CPK, the project organiser of the large-scale project of the same name in Poland, has appointed new members to the Management Board and the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board of CPK appointed Dariusz Kus as a new member of the Management Board on 2nd February 2024. Kus, who was previously President of Wroclaw Airport for 16 years, was selected from five candidates. In addition to his experience in airport management, Kus brings extensive knowledge from his work for investment houses and on the supervisory boards of financial institutions. Following the dismissal of the previous CPK Supervisory Board in January 2024, CPK Government Plenipotentiary Maciej Lasek appointed railway expert Zbigniew Szafranski to the CPK Supervisory Board with effect from 1st February 2024. Szafranski previously held senior positions at the Polish state railway PKP and the infrastructure manager PKP PLK. On 19th January 2024, the Supervisory Board dismissed the CEO Mikolaj Wild and the Director of Railway Investments Radoslaw Kantak. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PKP, Filip Czernicki, took over the role of CEO on a temporary basis for three months, while Andrzej Alot remained on the Management Board.
