CPK and Adif sign MoU for HSR network

CPK, the Polish project promoter for the transport hub of the same name, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Spanish infrastructure operator Adif. Under the MoU, both parties intend to work together on the development of the high-speed rail (HSR) network in Poland. The MoU includes joint training programmes, technical consultations, and the exchange of know-how in areas such as the installation of tracks on HSR lines and the modernisation of rail transport control systems. CPK and Adif have already realised joint activities, including the establishment of a working group on the implementation of high-speed trains (HST) and the liberalisation of the railway market in Poland. CPK is preparing to build a total of around 2,000 km of new railway lines, with the investment focus on the Warsaw – CPK – Lodz line.
