Adif orders rails and profiling work

The Spanish railway infrastructure manager Adif has ordered rails for the broad-gauge network and awarded a contract for profiling work on the metre-gauge network for more than €47 million. JSW Steel Italy Piombino and ArcelorMittal España were awarded a framework contract worth €40.2 million for the supply and transportation of rails. The manufacturers will supply the rails for work in various areas of the conventional broad-gauge network. A joint venture between Comsa and Mecno Service was awarded a four-year contract worth €7.1 million for profiling work on the metre-gauge network.
