On 18th March 2023, a 10 km link between the Sotetsu and Tokyu lines opened for service. The link will enable the operation of through-trains from Kanagawa Prefecture and western Yokohama to central Tokyo. The line runs underground from Hazawa Yokohama-Kokudai via Shin-Yokohama and Shin-Tsunashima to Hiyoshi.
