The Indian National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) has published a tender for the construction of the 135 km section between Shilphata and Zaroli on the Mumbai – Ahmedabad high-speed rail (HSR) line. The section located in the federal state of Maharashtra includes viaducts, 36 tunnels and three stations at Thane, Virar and Boisar. With this, works for the entire 508 km HSR line have now been put out to tender. Bids will be accepted until 14th March 2023.
