The 1,378 km high-speed rail line (HSR) between Huzhou and Hangzhou has been opened. The line is designed for speeds of up to 350 km/h, and also serves Deqing, Fuyang and Tonglu. Construction work on the line started at the end of 2019, and was completed on time at the end of April 2022. The construction was carried out by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).
