Gamuda wins contract for Phase 2 of CRL

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore has awarded a civil contract for the design and construction of the West Coast Station and Tunnels under Phase 2 of the Cross Island Line (CRL2) to Gamuda Berhad Singapore for a contract value of approx. €350 million (SG$ 510 million). The CRL's West Coast Station is an underground station located along West Coast Road. Due to its proximity to existing infrastructure such as residential and commercial buildings, necessary traffic and utility diversions will be implemented in phases to mitigate the impact on residents and other stakeholders. Construction work for CRL West Coast Station is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2024, while passenger service for Phase 2 of CRL is expected to begin in 2032.
