The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has invited expressions of interest for a contract to design and build the proposed Blue line of the metro network. The 30 km line will include both underground and elevated sections and will have 28 driverless metro trains. The Blue Line will be the second north-south line to connect Dubai International Airport with Al Maktoum Airport in Jebel Ali. Initial responses should be submitted by 24th November 2023.
