The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has approved the issuing of a tender for the Dikimevi – Mamak metro project. Previously, a loan agreement worth €250 million was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and French development agency AFD with a maturity of 12 years and a four-year grace period. The 7.5 km south-eastern extension of the Ankaray metro network would run from Dikimevi to Natoyolu Caddesi along eight stations.
