The Brazilian government has announced that the transport sector will receive funds worth €13 billion (BRL 68 billion) under the PAC growth acceleration programme during the next four years. The funds are to be directed towards railway lines, highways, and concessions. The first transport project to be integrated into the PAC is the FIOL extension.
