Rail fastener specialist Pandrol has introduced a Common Interface System for ballastless track to quickly and cost-effectively adapt fasteners to changing performance requirements. The system accepts a variety of different bolted and non-bolted rail fastener assemblies, allowing a track section to be modified to meet changing noise and vibration mitigation requirements by simply changing the fastener assembly rather than having to change the entire track structure. Designed for easy installation and maintenance, the system allows for a wide range of vertical and lateral adjustments.
