Metro São Paulo (Metro-SP) is planning to invest around €938 million (BRL 5 billion) in the extension and modernisation of the metro network in the Brazilian metropolis in 2024. The largest project is the expansion of Line 2, with €347 million to be invested in this project alone in 2024. This sum is 6% higher than the amount invested in 2023, taking into account the revised budget.
