Getzner Werkstoffe has contributed to the environmental compatibility and sustainability of Mexico's Tren Maya railway project. The over 1,500 km long railway line, expected to be completed in 2024, will have reduced noise and vibrations due to Getzner solutions. The vibration reduction is designed to last for decades and will reduce the maintenance needs of the line. Getzner has been involved in the project since 2019, which partially runs through a sensitive nature reserve. Getzner's vibration reduction solutions will be used on several Tren Maya line sections, including the fifth section from Tulum to Cancún, which is important for tourism and the economy.
