China Civil Engineering Construction Corp (CCECC) has signed a financing agreement for the construction of the 41 km RegioTram West light rail transit (LRT) line in Bogotá. This is CCECC's part of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) awarded in January 2020 for the design, construction, and operation of the line. The project is worth €505.9 million (US$543 million). The line will have 17 stops and will be operational in April 2026. The first six-car light rail vehicle (LRV) to be used on the line was presented by CRRC Changchun in October 2022.
