ARM to grind rails on LRT network in Calgary

The City of Calgary has awarded the Canadian branch of Advanced Rail Management (ARM) a one-year contract for rail grinding services on the municipal Light Rail Transit (LRT) network. The contract includes an optional four additional years. ARM will develop a programme to progressively restore the design profile of the rails on open and tunnel tracks with 60 km of road-flush embedded double track. The Blue and Red Lines will be treated alternately each year. (dks/mtm)
