Infrastructure consulting company Aecom has been appointed by Metrolinx, the public transport authority responsible for the greater Toronto and Hamilton area, as technical advisor for the light rail transit (LRT) project in Hamilton, Ontario. The project includes a 14 km line and will be the city's first LRT network. Under the contract, Aecom will assist Metrolinx in providing all infrastructure for Hamilton's LRT network.
