Accenture acquires Comtech

Technology company Accenture has acquired Comtech Group, a consulting and project management company for infrastructure projects based in Toronto. Comtech supports transport, infrastructure, industrial production, construction, and energy companies in the public and private sectors in the realisation of large, long-term infrastructure projects. The company's approx. 300 employees bring a mix of consulting and project management expertise in construction management, plant and manufacturing engineering, and process control automation. The acquisition of Comtech Group expands Accenture's capabilities for major projects in Canada. These capabilities include project structuring, estimating and planning, digitalisation, monitoring of work performed, and assisting clients in the management and execution of all project phases. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
