The World Bank is providing a €23.3 million (US$25 million) grant to Ukrainian state railway UZ for the reconstruction of national infrastructure and improvement of rail freight transport. The agreement between UZ and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) includes the purchase of equipment to rehabilitate railway facilities and the procurement of flat wagons to expand capacity for container transport.
