Finnish railway maintenance company VR FleetCare has sold its track maintenance and leasing business to Teräspyörä, as confirmed on 2nd April 2024. Teräspyörä is also active in the maintenance and leasing of specialized railway equipment. The transaction, which includes the acquisition of nine track maintenance machines and shunting cranes, is intended to strengthen services in this area and promote their growth. The employees which previously worked in this area will remain with VR FleetCare.
