Vossloh has strengthened its position in the Danish market by signing a long-term framework agreement with Banedanmark, the state rail network operator. The two contracts, which were recently signed, cover the supply of switch systems and related spare parts over a four-year period with a total volume of around €40 million. The contracts include options and can be extended twice by Banedanmark for a further two years. In order to make the deliveries efficient, Vossloh is planning to build a production facility of around 3,000 m² in Fredericia, Denmark, next to Banedanmark's concrete sleeper plant.
