Czech data analytics company Synap IoT has won another contract to install its RailGuard data solution from an infrastructure operator in the USA. The technology uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyse rail and ambient temperatures and provides local temperature information every 20 minutes, allowing decisions to be made about possible speed reductions.
