RATP Dev, the international subsidiary of Paris-based transit operator RATP, has been selected by the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Partners (STCP) consortium to develop an operations and maintenance strategy for the proposed metro line between the San Fernando Valley and the west side of Los Angeles. STCP is one of two consortia hired by Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) to design a high-capacity mass transit line. While STCP is studying the construction of a metro line, LA SkyRail Express is developing a monorail plan.
