Swiss start-up Sun Ways plans to install solar panels on tracks of the Swiss public transport company transN in Neuchâtel. A total of ten other Swiss companies will invest €400,000 into the project. The solar panels are to be laid between May and October 2023 on a track length of 100 m. UK start-up Bankset Energy will test a similar technology in Germany on the test tracks of German state railway DB.
