Paris-based public transport operator RATP has launched a tender for a study to retrofit semi-automatic couplings to the tractors of the TMA and TME vehicles for infrastructure maintenance VMI on the metro network. The contract includes the electrical and mechanical studies, integration, prototyping, supply of interfaces and couplings, supply of technical documentation, any maintenance tools, and related documentation. The contractor undertakes to supply a semi-automatic coupling that meets the technical specifications provided by RATP.
