Plasser & Theurer to supply track-laying machines to PKP PLK

The Polish infrastructure operator PKP PLK has contracted Plasser & Theurer with the delivery of track-laying machines. In a total of seven contracts with subsidiaries of PKP PLK, Plasser & Theurer will supply machines worth EUR 61.8 million (PLN 300 million). A ballast profiling machine of the type USP 2000 C2, as well as a universal tamping machine of the type UNIMAT 08-4x4/4S and two bulk material conveyors of the type MFS 120 S.C. will be delivered to Dolkom. Further ballast profiling machines will be delivered to PNiUIK and ZRK DOM. PPM-T has ordered a new RPM 1000 formation rehabilitation machine and a UNIMAT 09-4x4/4S Dynamic tamping machine. The contracts were signed as part of a programme to recapitalise companies of the PKP PLK Group. (dks/PT)
