On 19th June 2023, Bulgarian infrastructure operator NRIC and Plasser & Theurer, a manufacturer of railway construction machinery, signed a contract for the delivery and putting into operation of three special machines for works on the railway network. The machines include a ballast tamping machine, a levelling machine, and a traversing machine. The total value of the machines is more than €20 million.
