Bulgarian infrastructure operator NRIC has awarded Plasser & Theurer a contract for the delivery of four special wagons. The wagons with a gauge of 1,435 mm are planned for the transport and unloading of aggregates and overburden during infrastructure measures. The contract is worth around €7.6 million (BGN14.8 million). The procurement includes the supply and putting into operation of a fleet of four special wagons for the transport and unloading of aggregates and overburden, with rotating conveyor belt and associated ancillary equipment, consumables, special tools, technical documentation, and records for maintenance and repair work, as well as staff training.
