The Spanish Council of Ministers has appointed David Lucas Parrón as the new Secretary of State for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda at the Spanish Ministry of Transport (Mitma). Parrón, a lawyer and most recently Secretary General for Urban Agenda and Housing at Mitma, succeeds Isabel Pardo as Secretary of State for Transport, who resigned following an affair involving excessively small loading gauges of multiple units for the northern Spanish narrow-gauge network.
