Nordic Rail Service (NRS), a subsidiary of Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft (LHG), has spun off its infrastructure division, including the control and safety technology division, into the newly founded Gleisinstandhaltung Lübeck GmbH. The spin-off took place due to the European Union's regulation on the separation of operations and network.
