The DB E.C.O. Group, a subsidiary of German state railway DB, will introduce a new management structure from January 2024. Within DB E.C.O., Andrea Bertallot has taken over as CEO of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH (DB E&C). She reports to Niko Warbanoff, CEO of the DB E.C.O. Group and Chair of the Management Board of DB International Operations (DB IO). The strategic realignment of the management was necessitated by the growth of both divisions and the further development of activities in Germany and worldwide. The engineering services and consulting company DB E&C recently generated sales of €700 million and currently has an order backlog of €1.1 billion.
