The Spanish rail infrastructure manager Adif has appointed Eugenio Nasarre as General Director of Network Preservation and Maintenance. Nasarre, a civil engineer by training and previously Technical Director in the General Directorate for Preservation and Maintenance at Adif, succeeds Ángel Contreras, the new President of existing network operator Adif and high-speed rail (HSR) infrastructure manager Adif AV.
